Mother’s Day is on the 9th of May this year and with everything that is going on it is nice to be able to spend a day out with family and friends. Los Angeles and a lot of surrounding communities are opening up more and more so that restaurants and shops are allowing people to come inside and dine and shop. Check out the list below to learn more about some of the restaurants that we are excited about opening up for mothers day.
Redbird
Located at 114 East Second St. in LA, Redbird is both a brunch and dinner place with all outdoor seating. Their menu looked amazing with two courses and a kids menu
London West Hollywood Boxwood Restaurant
Located at 1020 N. San Vicente Blvd. in West Hollywood, the Boxwood restaurant has been designed to create a more open space for guests, allowing natural sunlight to fill the outdoor area. With their culinary team of boxwood overseeing all dining at the London West Hollywood, you can be sure that the expectations are always exceeded.
Chado Tea Room
This tea room has four different locations all around southern California, in Pasadena, Torrance, Los Angeles, and in Hollywood. Chado Tea Room is open this mothers day and has a sampler gift box that has 12 teas. Its a great way for tea lovers to discover new favorites! We have visited their tea room in Old Pasadena which offers a full pot of freshly steeped tea, a three tired rack which serves four half sandwiches and scones and cookies. It was easily one of the best celebrations for a friend we have had.
Cafe Gratitude
Located in 3 areas in LA, Cafe Gratitude not only is a brunch spot that has three locations, but also sells boxes of chocolate. each chocolate box is made with clean, vegan ingredients and contains a variety of truffles and chocolates for an unforgettable day celebrating mothers.
Castaway Restaurant
Found up in the Burbank Hills, on 1250 East Harvard St., Castaway is a is known around Burbank for hosting events for high schools, holidays and other businesses.
Bea Bea’s
Bea Beas is a great place that opened in Burbank in 2008. It is a vibrant and casual, family owned restaurant that serves a wide selections of American breakfast comforts and hearty lunches. Everything from French toast and pancakes too ‘the good stuff’ like bagels and lox and frittatas.
